About My Clients
I work with adolescents, young adults, and adults who are looking to better understand themselves, navigate life’s challenges, and create meaningful change.
My Background and Approach
My approach is grounded in helping people build confidence, improve communication, and feel more in control of their lives. I specialize in teaching social skills, building self-esteem, supporting behavior management, and empowering individuals to advocate for themselves in everyday situations. Many of the people I support come to therapy during times of transition —starting a new school or job, adjusting to changes at home, managing a new diagnosis, navigating friendship or identity struggles, or grieving a loss. Others arrive feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, stuck in sadness, or simply lonely and in need of someone to listen and be there. Having been in therapy myself, I understand how difficult it can be to open up, especially when things feel confusing or uncertain. That lived experience helps me connect and build trust, particularly with teens who may feel hesitant about starting therapy. I meet you where you are, and we’ll figure things out together!
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
At the heart of my work is a deep belief in the power of authenticity and connection. We all face our own struggles, and I strive to create a space that feels safe, genuine, and empowering so we can work through yours. I often bring in elements like art, music, movement, or whatever you connect with to help make it easier to talk and express what’s going on. I’m trained in trauma-focused CBT and draw from attachment theory and Internal Family Systems (IFS) to help you build greater self-understanding, develop effective tools for managing life’s challenges, and strengthen your connection to yourself and the people around you.
