Licensed Professional Counselor in Boise, ID

About My Clients

I primarily work with teens and adults navigating grief and loss, whether that means losing someone you love, a relationship, a sense of identity, or a significant chapter of life. I also work with clients experiencing ADHD, anxiety, depression, low self-worth, trauma, spiritual deconstruction, and major life transitions. I’m especially drawn to supporting people who feel stuck, overwhelmed, numb, or unsure how to move forward after something has changed.

My Background and Approach

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor who works primarily with grief and loss across the lifespan, with a particular interest in supporting teens and adults through the many ways loss can affect our lives. I also work with ADHD, anxiety, depression, low self-worth, trauma, perfectionism, and major life transitions. My approach draws from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness, person-centered therapy, and trauma-informed care. I don’t believe there is one right way to grieve or one right way to do therapy. We’ll work together to understand what you’re experiencing, make space for difficult emotions, and identify what matters to you now. My goal is to offer both understanding and practical support that feels useful in your actual life.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe every person deserves to be treated with dignity, compassion, and respect. I work with and welcome people from all backgrounds, belief systems, races, sexualities, gender identities, and abilities. You don’t have to share my beliefs or have everything figured out before coming to therapy. You also don’t need to know exactly what you need from therapy before you reach out. I want my office to be a place where you can be honest about what you’re experiencing without feeling judged or pressured to be someone you’re not. I believe people are shaped by their experiences, relationships, communities, and circumstances, and I try to understand the whole person. Most importantly, I want you to have space to come as you are, wherever you are in your life.
