About My Clients
Are you feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure what comes next? I work with adolescents and adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, relationships, family dynamics, identity, emotional regulation, and life transitions. I especially enjoy working with women and LGBTQ+ clients. If you’re ready to feel more understood and create meaningful change, I’d love to connect and explore how therapy can support you.
My Background and Approach
I’m a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) with a Master of Social Work from The Ohio State University, currently working toward my LCSW. My clinical experience includes working with adolescents and families navigating mental health concerns, substance use, trauma, emotional regulation, and complicated family dynamics. I’m a big believer that therapy shouldn’t feel like someone sitting across from you telling you what you “should” do. I take a collaborative, trauma-informed approach and use tools from CBT, ACT, and DBT, along with mindfulness and strengths-based strategies. I’m also interested in the connection between our brains, bodies, emotions, and behaviors. We’ll work together to make sense of what’s going on, figure out what you want to change, and find tools that actually work for you. Therapy doesn’t have to be perfect—you just have to show up as yourself.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy works best when you can show up as your whole, imperfect, wonderfully human self. I value authenticity, curiosity, compassion, and continuous growth, and I try to bring those values into both my personal life and my work with clients. I also believe there’s room for humor in therapy—life can be heavy, and sometimes laughing together is part of feeling human again. Outside of therapy, I love music, traveling, creativity, self-care, and spending time with my pets. I have a background in cosmetology, which shaped my appreciation for self-expression, confidence, and the ways we care for ourselves. I’m naturally curious and always learning something new, whether it’s about people, psychology, or personal growth. Most of all, I believe you don’t have to have everything figured out before reaching out. Wherever you are right now, you’re welcome to start there.
