About My Clients
While I specialize in working with young adult women struggling with anxiety and self esteem; I also work with teens and adults managing depression, anxiety, major life changes, greif and loss, career and school related stress.
My Background and Approach
I received a Master’s of Social Work from Fordham University and trained at Yale New Haven Hospital (YNHH) working with young adults and their families. I began working at YNHH in 2018, and treated patients managing anxiety, depression, substance use, major life changes, and mood disorders. I received extensive training in DBT, CBT, and Mindfulness techniques. I worked with adolescents, adults, older adults, and families. I began seeing individual clients in private practice once I received my LCSW. Here I found my passion for working with individuals and their families. During our work together I will offer you a safe space to work through the challenges you’re facing. We may use DBT & CBT informed practices as well as Mindfulness & Relaxation Techniques.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am an open minded, genuine, non judgmental clinician. I offer support and compassion to clients who have been through different experiences and come from different backgrounds. I have worked with a diverse population of individuals and their families. Mental health doesn't discriminate, you are not alone in your challenges. Please don't hesitate to reach out.
