About My Clients
I specialize in mood, anxiety, cognitive, and trauma-related disorders. My approach consists of individualized medication management in conjunction with mindfulness and cognitive behavioral therapy. I collaborate with clients to create treatment plans designed to fulfill their personal mental health goals. As a provider, I guide individuals towards improving cognitive distortions, emotional regulation, and self-esteem.
My Background and Approach
I am an ANCC board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) trained in medication management and psychotherapy. I completed a Bachelor of Science in Biopsychology, as well as in Nursing. I went on to earn a Master of Science in Nursing from the California State University of Los Angeles (CSULA), specializing as a Nurse Practitioner in Family Psychiatry and Mental Health. While earning my undergraduate degree, I helped treat individuals affected by opioid addiction. I later worked as a Charge Registered Nurse at an emergency psychiatric hospital in Los Angeles, managing care for all ages.
