My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in practice for over 9 years. I have a background in psychodynamics, attachment, cognitive behavioral therapy, and mindfulness based techniques. I use tools and techniques from a variety of approaches so I can tailor our work to your individual needs and goals. I want to empower you to find your voice and tap into your innate strengths to achieve your dreams, improve relationships, and reexperience joy.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe society, capitalism, inequity, and discrimination should take more accountability for the state of our people's mental health. We are strong, resilient survivors adapting in a system that only works for a few. I strive to empower others to embrace their identities, cope with how our world may have defined us, and build inner resilience to break norms and live as authentically as possible.
