About My Clients
I typically work with women who feel they've lost their footing; exhausted from trying to hold everything together, often after a major change, but sometimes for reasons that are hard to even name. In our work together, I'll walk alongside you as we unravel what's gotten tangled. You can expect me to be curious, non-judgmental, patient, and empathetic. Together we'll clarify what you want and map a real path toward it. My practice is an affirming space for LGBTQ+ individuals.
My Background and Approach
I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor based in St. Louis, and I've spent my career focused on one thing: helping women reduce their suffering and live fuller lives. I work specifically with women because I am one, and because I know firsthand how uniquely we move through the world. The pressures, the expectations, the way we're seen and treated; they're real, and they shape us. I want to be in the room with women who are ready to stop just managing and start actually living. I received my BA in Psychology from the University of Missouri-Columbia and my MA in School and Professional Counseling from Lindenwood University in St. Charles, MO. After graduate school, I spent seven years as a high school counselor. During that time, I began building my private practice. My treatment modalities include Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness-based Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, EMDR (Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), Brainspotting, and Relaxation Training.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Change is an unavoidable part of life. My belief is that with the right tools, we can learn to adapt alongside it rather than be swept away by it. I'm here to help you recognize the patterns that are no longer serving you and build something better in their place. As a clinician, I'm open-minded, empathetic, and hopeful and I'm fully committed to offering you the highest quality of care.
