About My Clients

You work hard to keep it all together on the outside, but inside you're exhausted and shaky. You've spent years trying to be perfect and take care of others' feelings. You're fed up with the racing thoughts that keep you up at night and painful sense you just don’t belong. It may even feel like depression, anxiety, and trauma have been a part of your life for as long as you can remember. One thing is sure: you’re ready for relief.

My Background and Approach

Therapy should be a place where you can feel safe, seen, and understood. Using a gentle, compassionate approach called Internal Family Systems (IFS), I can help you find and befriend the parts of yourself that are hurt or stuck. You’ll be in control: we’ll go where you choose, when you’re ready, and not a moment sooner. The warmth and safety of our therapeutic relationship is my highest priority. I will check in with you throughout our work together about what is going well and what could work better between us. For many of my clients, knowing and voicing what they need and desire is a growth edge, and this aspect of our work together can be surprisingly powerful. Please reach out for a free consultation to see if we are a good fit. I offer daytime telehealth appointments. I accept private pay and can also provide a monthly statement for you to submit to insurance for reimbursement. My Personal Beliefs and Interests

When we are hurt in relationship to others, we also need to heal in connection. I believe people need to feel safe enough, seen, and understood for therapy to get off the ground. As a recovering perfectionist, I have come to believe deeply in the value of slowing down long enough to understand what's driving us. I know what it's like to be really good at something but wonder if that's enough. I'm also familiar with the challenges and rewards of maintaining a practice in the creative arts, and I love working with people who want to bring their creative and intellectual gifts into the world. As an experienced therapist helping people heal from anxiety, depression, and trauma, I know reaching out can be hard. I'll make it easy. You don’t have to face your feelings alone. I look forward to connecting with you.
