About My Clients
My clients are teens, adults, and couples adjusting to life after loss. Often, the initial crisis has passed and life has moved forward, but something still feels unresolved. Grief may show up in relationships, identity, motivation, milestones, anniversaries, or unexpected triggers. Some are navigating the loss of a loved one, while others are carrying multiple losses over time. Together, we make space for what has been lost while helping you reconnect with meaning and connection.
My Background and Approach
My work is shaped by both professional training and personal experience with loss. After a significant loss as a young adult, I have spent more than a decade understanding how grief continues to affect identity, relationships, and daily life long after others expect it to fade. I am an Associate Clinical Social Worker providing therapy for teens, adults, and couples navigating grief, loss, relationship challenges, and life transitions. My approach is relational and grounded in the belief that healing happens in a space where you feel seen and supported. My clinical training includes Prolonged Grief Disorder Therapy, Gottman Method Couples Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I use evidence-based care while honoring each person’s unique experience of loss. I have provided grief and bereavement support at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and in a New York City public high school, and now in private practice.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My work is grounded in the belief that grief is not linear and there is no “right” way to grieve. I understand grief as the continuation of love after loss, and I aim to create a space where all forms of grief are welcome without judgment or expectation. As a social worker, I take a person-in-environment and systems perspective, with a strong commitment to equity and social justice. I believe healing is shaped by context, including identity, culture, and access to care. I previously volunteered with San Francisco Suicide Prevention, completing over 200 crisis calls providing suicide risk assessment, safety planning, and emotional support. That experience deeply shaped my ability to stay present with people in moments of intense pain. I am also passionate about expanding access to mental health care, including prior work supporting telepsychiatry programs in rural communities and advocacy for mental health legislation.
