About My Clients

I work with adults with varying concerns, such as anxiety, depression, life transitions, grief, infertility, relationships & intimacy, identity development, privilege and oppression, and more. Maybe you’re feeling stuck and longing for movement, maybe you’re putting the pieces of a life back together, or maybe you are just allowing yourself to be heard, held, and supported. Whatever your reason for seeking therapy, I am glad you’re here.

My Background and Approach

For all of our similarities, our lived experiences are uniquely ours and often require our therapy to have a custom framework. I use an integrative approach to therapy, often utilizing tenets of psychodynamics, feminist theory, narrative therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy, and emotion-focused therapy. I’m also trained in EMDR (eye movement desensitization reprocessing) with a somatic and attachment focus. I provide an environment in which to explore the parts of you you’re hoping to understand as well as your innate and undeniable power.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

Your lived experiences matter. Each one of us has our own story that deserves to be told and believed. In this difficult time to be alive, we greatly need opportunities for grounding, clarity, and hope. Therapy is an opportunity to develop such grounding through a collaborative process of exploration and support. Despite our best efforts, we all experience shame. Therapy is the exercise of identifying your worth and anchoring it to the foundation of belief. The values I bring to my practice are grounded in feminism and intersectionality. This means that I recognize the impact of societal messages about our worth as people. Our work together will include unpacking those messages about our varying identities, the different ways in which they intersect, and celebrating all of the moving parts that make up who you are.
