About My Clients
My approach works best with those who have the desire to do deep healing. I tailor to your needs, often with a focus on inner child work, somatic therapy, CBT, and spirituality, if desired. This works especially well with those struggling with self-trust, perfectionism, body image, disordered eating, identity confusion, relationships, trauma, and anxiety.
My Background and Approach
I believe there is no such thing as a bad feeling or bad thought. These feelings and thoughts serve a purpose, and when pushed away, we miss out on the wisdom they hold. As your therapist, I will help you reconnect to your natural intuition that is trying to be heard through these thoughts, feelings and related behavioral patterns. You will uncover the root of your challenges and learn how to re-parent yourself and reprogram limiting beliefs in order to free yourself of the patterns that no longer serve you. I will also help you reconnect to your body, in order to find safety and feel and release the emotions and trauma it stores. As a therapist, I am warm, yet direct, open-minded, and often humorous :) Trust me, I know how overwhelming it can be to feel disconnected from yourself.
