I'm glad you've taken a moment to find out more about starting your journey into wellbeing. Bienestar specializes in serving the needs of those who spend their days serving others. With over 16 years of clinical experience treating depression, anxiety, addictions, adjustment & life transition difficulties, I am available to help you take that first step and get on the right track in preventing, treating, and recovering from burnout and/or compassion fatigue.

I use cognitive behavioral and solution-focused interventions to help you reach your goals of improving your personal wellbeing. My approach targets the improvement of your health in the following areas: physical, mental, emotional, relational, and spiritual so you can continue to serve others with passion and dedication without neglecting your own needs.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I have a strength-based approach to counseling and do not believe in approaching your current challenges with a deficit mindset (what's missing or what is being done wrong), but exploring what is going right, what unique coping skills and life experiences you bring to the table and move forward from there. I also believe spirituality is an essential part of the counseling journey because your spirituality defines how you view and engage with the world around you and has to do with your passions and what feeds your soul.
