About My Clients
If you carry the weight of trauma, traumatic stress, chronic illness, caregiving, or the pressure to always be strong, you may feel stuck in patterns of anxiety, perfectionism, hypervigilance, over-responsibility, or emotional exhaustion. Many of my clients are deeply caring, capable people who have spent years adapting, achieving, serving, or caring for others while feeling disconnected from themselves.
My Background and Approach
My practice integrates narrative therapy, somatic psychotherapy, mindfulness, and evidence-based approaches. I hold master’s degrees in Public Health and Clinical Mental Health Counseling, and my work is informed by advanced training in trauma, nervous system regulation, meditation, and Yoga Nidra with a focus in supporting veterans, caregivers, and trauma survivors. My hope is to create a space where you don’t have to hide the parts of yourself that feel confusing, heavy, or difficult to put into words. Together, we’ll slow down enough to notice the stories your life has written, the wisdom your body carries, and the strengths that have helped you survive. From there, healing becomes less about fixing yourself and more about understanding yourself with compassion.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe each person carries an innate capacity for healing, growth, and transformation when met with safety, compassion, and genuine understanding. Our patterns are often meaningful adaptations to what we have experienced, not evidence that something is wrong with us, and they create very real struggles in our lives. Therapy is a collaborative journey of honoring your story, reconnecting with yourself, and creating a more compassionate relationship with your mind, body, and life.
