About My Clients

Struggling to show up in a world that tells you “you’re too much” and to "stop being so sensitive"? Having thoughts that no one will ever get you because you’re constantly told to “just get over it”? If you don't fit in the box in a climate hostile towards difference, this creates debilitating anxiety. The need to feel safe, seen, and heard IS REAL AF. You don't have to suffer in silence anymore. We can heal in relationship with corrective experiences. I'd be honored to serve as your guide.

My Background and Approach

As someone who has confronted sexual abuse, teenage pregnancy, dropping out of school, domestic violence, addiction & discrimination, I draw from a lot of my own personal experiences to connect with you. I strive to be REAL in therapy. My style is very casual and relational. You can feel my presence in the room as I'm the therapist that cries and laughs with you. I use a variety of tools to get you back in your body, into the present moment to help you find that inner calm place. And for those who get stuck, I have training in EMDR, which is a powerful therapy for PTSD. My goal is to teach you several tools to manage fear and anxiety in your relationships, so you can begin rewiring your brain and creating the healthy relationships your soul has yearned for. As a trauma therapist, I teach you to trust your intuition and body’s wisdom to help you establish no-bullshit boundaries. Curious to learn more—book a FREE consult on my website and let's chat!

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

Behind the scenes when I'm not with clients, I have worked on diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging efforts through local professional organizations with the goal of decolonizing mental health to make therapy more accessible to historically marginalized communities. I also have a special interest in creating safe spaces for Queer & BIPOC clinicians to continue learning and leading and to reduce burn-out in this population.

I offer online counseling in the following states:
I have experience with the following
  • Buddhism
  • Multifaith
