About My Clients

I support adults struggling with anxiety, depression, life transitions, finding meaning, discovering identity, relationships, trauma, and more. We all ask ourselves who we are, what our purpose is in life. We all worry that we are not good enough, and compare ourselves to others. We have difficulty being vulnerable and showing our authentic self to ourselves and others. I believe in discovering and accepting our weaknesses and strengths, and discovering what our values are to find our purpose.

My Background and Approach

I have worked in the social work, psychology field for 10+ years and have a graduate degree in Clinical Psychology. I'm a believer in unplugging and truly getting to know your strengths, weaknesses, and values. I mainly come from a framework of Existentialism, especially finding meaning in life, and living authentically to our values. I am a proponent of the mind-body connection and use mindfulness in therapy. Although Existential and Mindfulness Therapies are my framework, I use an integrative approach which is a mix of therapies depending on what will best help each presenting difficulty. My integrative approach includes: Existential Therapy, Mindfulness, CBT, ACT, Psychodynamic, Person-centered, and more.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

Every human suffers in life with similar difficulties. We are on this journey together. I believe that the world we are currently in makes it hard for us to truly get to know ourselves and others due to social media, and constantly being plugged into something. I believe that we compare ourselves to others, talk negatively to ourselves, think that we, "should be," a certain way, we have forgotten how to talk to each other without distractions. How often do you sit in silence and just think? By the end of our busy days, we are anxious and depressed because we are living monontous lives without reflection and true connection. I invite you to take the journey to truly getting to know yourself, and what would make your life truly meaningful. We will work through the negative feelings and where they come from, and how to accept you as your authentic self.
