About My Clients
I work with adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, burnout, low self-esteem, and life transitions. I support people struggling with perfectionism, people-pleasing, or feeling disconnected from themselves. My goal is to offer a nonjudgmental space where clients can better understand their patterns, build self-trust, and create meaningful change at their own pace.
My Background and Approach
My background includes experience in substance use treatment, group therapy, and individual counseling. I draw from humanistic and existential perspectives, incorporating evidence-based approaches such as CBT, DBT, and motivational interviewing to meet each client's unique needs. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in the belief that you are more than the challenges you're facing. I strive to create a space where you can explore difficult experiences, recognize patterns that no longer serve you, and better understand yourself without fear of judgment. I believe therapy should honor your autonomy, values, and lived experiences rather than follow a one-size-fits-all approach. Together, we'll work toward meaningful change at a pace that feels right for you, building on your existing strengths while making room for growth, self-trust, and a more authentic life.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy should be a space where you can show up as you are, question the expectations you've inherited, and explore what a meaningful life looks like on your own terms. I value authenticity, self-acceptance, and respect for each person's autonomy, identity, and lived experience. I'm committed to affirming care that makes room for LGBTQ+ identities, neurodiversity, religious trauma, and the complicated ways social expectations can shape how we see ourselves. I believe people deserve compassion rather than shame, including when they're learning to relate differently to their bodies, beliefs, or past experiences. Outside of my work, I enjoy creativity, spending time with animals, and continuing to learn and grow. I bring that same curiosity into therapy, recognizing that none of us ever stops becoming who we are.
