About My Clients

I specialize in teens, adults, and families who suffer from issues such as anxiety, low self-esteem, and trouble setting boundaries. Many of my clients identify with one or more marginalized populations; a woman, a person of color, a member of the LGBTQIA+ community. Our identities impact the way in which we move through the world and I'm here to help guide, support, and respect the nuances of your experience as we face any and all issues you’d like to address.

My Background and Approach

I firmly believe in the idea that the "client is the expert on themselves," which means I am not here to direct your thoughts and actions. Rather, through a collaborative effort, we can examine the unique life experiences and identities you belong to and brainstorm solutions that feel right for you. By utilizing a balance between Humanistic theories and Evidence-Based practices, we can find solutions and actions that not only improve the immediate situation but also emphasize emotional support and examine the root causes of the issues.
