About My Clients
I enjoy working at the intersection of physical and mental health to help people address their overall wellness goals. I can help with a variety of issues ranging from anxiety & panic, sleep, substance use, grief, trauma, parenting, pregnancy & postpartum, and the stress of living with chronic illness or rare disease. I am an ally of the LGBTQIA+ community and provide gender affirming care.
My Background and Approach
I hold a Master of Social Work from George Fox University and a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and Sociology/Anthropology from St. Olaf College. Prior to becoming a therapist, I ran youth leadership development programs in Latin America and worked as a Spanish healthcare interpreter. I have worked in agency settings since 2018, including community mental health and primary care behavioral health. Some of my clinical interests and areas of expertise include anxiety & panic, sleep, substance use, grief, trauma, parenting, pregnancy & postpartum, and the stress of living with chronic illness or rare disease. I am an ally of the LGBTQIA+ community and provide gender affirming care. Additionally, I am certified in perinatal mental health and have particular interest in addressing birth trauma & pregnancy loss, navigating fertility treatments, preparing for the postpartum period, and helping new parents adjust to parenthood.
