About My Clients

I primarily work with children, adolescents, and young adults navigating anxiety, depression, mood disorders, identity development, and life transitions. My goal is to provide a supportive space where clients can better understand themselves, work through challenges, and develop skills that support their well-being.

My Background and Approach

My approach to therapy is integrative, individualized, and grounded in evidence-based practice. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), narrative therapy, mindfulness, somatic approaches, exposure therapy, and strengths-based interventions. I tailor treatment to each client’s unique needs, goals, experiences, and strengths rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach. Depending on what brings you to therapy, our work may focus on developing practical coping and emotional regulation skills, understanding patterns in thoughts and behaviors, exploring how past experiences influence the present, and finding new ways to respond to challenges. I aim to help clients deepen their understanding of themselves while developing skills and perspectives that support greater confidence, flexibility, and well-being in their daily lives.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe therapy is most meaningful when you feel comfortable being yourself and know that your experiences are being met with genuine curiosity, compassion, and respect. I strive to create a warm, collaborative space where you feel heard and supported without judgment. I believe each person is the expert on their own experience, and I see my role as helping you explore what may be beneath the surface, recognize patterns, and consider new perspectives. I value authenticity in the therapeutic relationship and believe there is room for both vulnerability and humor in the process. My hope is that therapy feels like a space where you can show up as you are and feel supported in becoming more connected to yourself and the life you want to create.
