About My Clients
I work with school-aged children, teens, and young adults navigating anxiety, identity, school stress, and life transitions. I meet clients where they are—creating a warm, supportive space to explore emotions, build coping skills, and grow confidence. Whether you're a child with big feelings or a teen feeling stuck, you don’t have to go through it alone. We’ll move at your pace, together.
My Background and Approach
I’m a licensed social worker (LSW) working with children, teens, and young adults facing anxiety, school stress, identity questions, and life transitions. My approach is warm and collaborative, grounded in the belief that healing begins when you feel truly heard and accepted. I create a safe, judgment-free space where we explore feelings and build strengths at your pace. I integrate evidence-based modalities like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) coping skills, play therapy, and strengths-based approaches to support emotional growth, resilience, and self-understanding. I especially enjoy helping middle schoolers navigate friendships, emotions, and self-esteem. Whether it’s your first time in therapy or a return, I meet you where you are—with compassion and curiosity—to help you feel more confident and connected.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am a proud ally of the LGBTQ+ community and deeply committed to creating an inclusive, affirming space for all clients. I believe that therapy should honor and respect every person’s unique identity, culture, and experience. I approach my work with cultural humility, recognizing that learning and growth are ongoing for both clients and therapists. I enjoy working with diverse populations and strive to understand each person’s background and perspective without assumptions or judgment. Outside of therapy, I support causes that promote social justice and equity, and I’m passionate about advocating for mental health awareness across communities. My goal is to empower you to feel seen, heard, and valued exactly as you are, while supporting your journey toward healing and self-discovery.
