As a therapist, my aim is to help guide you to a place that you are struggling to reach. I will meet you where you are and tailor the therapy to your needs. By providing a welcoming presence, I work to create a space that is safe and comfortable. My Background and Approach
My approach is an eclectic style pulling from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Mindfulness Therapies, utilizing an overall strength-based approach. I have worked with adolescents and adults in various levels of care, including: residential, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, and outpatient. If you are seeking self-discovery, growth, or simply a neutral space to process, I would be honored to be a part of your journey.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Life can take us to all types of wonderful, challenging, exciting, and sometimes unknown places. Having a non-judgmental atmosphere to process it all can promote growth within the mind and body connection. I believe that we are all capable of growth at any time in our lives. It all comes down to identifying, understanding, and acceptings emotions. Therapy is like peeling an onion; there are so many layers to uncover, but we eventually reach the center, aka the core issue. Whether you need to uncover deep rooted trauma or simply need someone to talk to in a safe space, I am here for you!
