About My Clients
I have specialized training in working with kids ages 3-11 and their families navigate through challenges, new phases of life, neurodivergence, etc. I also love working with clients of any age who need extra support for their neurodivergence, specifically ADHD or autism.
My Background and Approach
I pull from a variety of approaches to meet the unique needs and communication styles of each client. I tend to use your/your child’s interests and natural strengths as a foundation for building change. This may look like drawing feelings out on paper, using figurines to role-play through tough situations, or talking about the hard stuff over a game of catch. I welcome and encourage parental/caregiver involvement in therapy when working with kids. Therapy can be intimidating, so I work to make my office as comfortable, fun, and inclusive as I can. Whether it’s getting down on the floor to play, using fidgets together, or playing virtual games, I engage with my clients in the ways that work best for their brains and bodies! Together, we’ll draw on your unique, natural strengths and interests as a foundation for creating the change you’d like to see. Questions? Nervous to begin? Feel free to email me!
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am client-centered at heart. During therapy we'll use YOUR strengths as a foundation for building towards the goals and change YOU've set, in whatever way works best for YOU! I strive to create a space that’s safe, engaging, inclusive, and culturally-sensitive.
