About My Clients
I love working with adults and am welcoming of all. Using IFS (Internal Family Systems) we can begin to honor and befriend all the different sides of you, with curiosity, and compassion. IFS is a very respectful and non-pathologizing model.
My Background and Approach
My therapeutic approach is collaborative, non-judgmental, and client-centered. My intent is to help you uncover inner strengths and build skills to develop a stronger relationship with yourself and others. My work is grounded in mindfulness, somatic interventions, attachment theory, psycho-education, and Internal Family Systems (IFS). Together we can create a pace and way of working that feels safe and affirming for you. My background, before becoming a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, was in photography and performing arts. I have always been interested in healing, self-expression, and creativity, and this informs my work as a therapist. I am passionate about using curiosity, humor, and the spontaneity of the moment to explore issues of the past, present and future.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I value the humanistic perspective. I work from a view of systems and interconnection. I am moved by nature, compassion, laughter, play, and our deep biological draw towards attachment and healing.
