About My Clients
I provide individual, couples and family counseling to adolescents/teens and adults. I have extensive experience treating individuals with Borderline Personality Disorder; anxiety (OCD, Panic Disorder, Generalized anxiety, etc.) and mood (Depression, Bipolar Disorder, etc.) disorders; and ADHD. I also work with clients on issues related to loss/grief, chronic illness, gambling addiction and impulse control disorders, substance use and adjusting to major life transitions.
My Background and Approach
I have been working in private practice since 2016. During the seven years prior to that, I provided counseling services to individuals diagnosed with severe mental illness in residential, community and outpatient community mental health settings. My professional experience prepared me to be able to thoroughly assess and diagnose mental health disorders; provide comprehensive psychoeducation to important members of clients’ support systems; and become highly competent in multicultural issues.
