About My Clients
Recognizing that life history and sociocultural background can shape a client’s experiences and personal goals, Sarah decided to pursue both mental health and marriage and family so that she could understand an individual and how those unique factors and environment impacts both the individual and family unit. Sarah’s approach is flexible, culturally sensitive, and aimed at facilitating the ability to live a life that is consistent with each clients’ values, needs and priorities.
My Background and Approach
To help her clients grow and reach their goals, Sarah uses the principles and techniques of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and mindfulness-based therapy. Her approach is practical and empathic. Sarah strives to provide her clients with the insight and tools necessary to live the life that they want, while cultivating acceptance around areas of their life that cannot be changed.
