About My Clients

I work with clients who are looking for a space of inclusivity, acceptance and personal growth. Whether you are juggling life pressures, getting stuck in the same cycles, struggling with a sense of self, or issues in personal relationships, I will help provide you with the insight, steps and tools needed to move forward.

My Background and Approach

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with specialized training in evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Brainspotting. I work primarily with adults and college students navigating a wide range of challenges—from anxiety, trauma, and OCD to eating disorders, relationship issues, and major life transitions. My style is warm, affirming, and direct and I create a space where all parts of you are welcome. Whether you're working through something specific or just feeling off, therapy can be a place to reconnect—with yourself, your values, and the relationships that matter most.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I've been a therapist for over 20 years, and in this time, I have learned that no matter what brings you into therapy, if you are ready or want to be ready to address the issues, then change is possible. The process is almost always hard and yet I believe always worth it. We all struggle with getting stuck in our lives from time to time and for infinitely different reasons, but getting unstuck allows you to live the life and be the "you" that you have been missing. As a queer therapist, supporting our LGBTQIA+ community is my passion and responsibility and helping with the sometimes-unique set of challenges that can be present in our lives. There is no one right way to love, no one right way to have a relationship, no one right way to be yourself. The "right" way, is to discover and be true to you. If we are living our lives being our authentic selves, then we can use this strength to face the life challenges that come...for all of us.
