About My Clients
I work with adults and couples, many of whom are neurodivergent (ADHD/Autistic) or navigating anxiety, big emotions, life transitions, or burnout. Clients often come to me wanting to feel more grounded, understood, and connected to themselves. In our work together, you’ll find warmth, humor, honesty, and a steady sense of hope as we move toward meaningful change.
My Background and Approach
My approach is warm, collaborative, and rooted in mindfulness. I believe in meeting you where you are and moving at a pace that feels safe and supportive. I use evidence-based approaches to support healing, including: Internal Family Systems (IFS) – helping you connect with and understand different parts of yourself with curiosity and compassion EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) – an evidence-based approach to processing trauma and reducing emotional distress Somatic (body-based) approaches – supporting nervous system regulation and helping you reconnect with your body as part of trauma healing Gottman Method for couples – practical, research-based tools to improve communication, rebuild trust, and strengthen your relationship Mindfulness-based practices to increase awareness and presence Together, we’ll work to build insight, strengthen coping skills, and create meaningful, lasting change.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a therapist and a mom, I bring both professional insight and real-life perspective to my work. I’m deeply committed to neurodiversity-affirming care and supporting people in healing from trauma. I believe each person holds an innate capacity to heal, grow, and move toward a life of joy and purpose. Grounded in my values as a social worker, I believe in the dignity and rights of all people. My background includes volunteering with youth experiencing homelessness, working with LGBTQIA+ communities, and advocating for disability rights—experiences that continue to shape my inclusive, compassionate approach.
