I know starting therapy can be hard. I hope sharing about who I am as a therapist helps clarify if I feel like a good fit for you. I view connection and authenticity as strengths. I center consent and empowerment, depathologize responses to harm (systemic or otherwise), and value lived experience. I will take you and your needs seriously while celebrating your joy. I am non-judgmental, interested, understanding, and trust your self-knowledge.
Art therapy supports expression, self-reflection, exploration, repair and meaning making in therapy and more importantly in your life beyond therapy. Art making is not a requirement. I will actively check in with you in order to provide sessions reflective of your goals and guided by what you find most helpful. If you were looking for “talk therapy”/psychotherapy services, I encourage you to reach out. We can discuss ways to create sessions that reflect what you are looking for.
