About My Clients
If you're looking for therapy for yourself, or for you & your partner, I can help! We all experience challenges, stresses, and obstacles that can leave us feeling stuck, confused, or lost. I believe in creating a fully accepting space for you to openly share the challenges that you may be facing, to help you gain a greater sense of self control, authenticity and clarity within your life. We all have the capacity to transform our own lives, sometimes we just need a little help discovering how.
My Background and Approach
I'm trained as a marriage and family therapist, which means that I recognize the impact that relationships, environments, and contexts can have on how we interact with the world around us. I also recognize the impact that larger systems (like societal or cultural expectations, or even family relationships) can have on us individually and relationally. This means that when we meet, I'll work to understand your unique experiences as a human, and how you perceive your thoughts, feelings, experiences, and the world around you. Understanding you from your worldview helps me to best collaborate with you towards the transformation you're hoping for. I take this perspective whether I'm working individually with you, or in relational work. I'm trauma informed and trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy). EMDR is an evidence-based treatment for those impacted by trauma and/or other difficult life experiences or challenges.

My practice Mission Statement: In a culture where we are often told how we should define ourselves — or how to act, feel or think— we can feel powerless to create and live the life that we want. Clarity Together, LLC is committed to compassionately supporting individuals and couples in breaking down the barriers that are limiting or constraining them, to reclaim the most authentic versions of themselves and their relationships. Clarity Together, LLC recognizes the oppression that exists within the systems that our culture has been built on, and the impact this has especially on communities of color and LGBTQ+ communities. We are committed to the internal and external work of challenging and dismantling this oppression. We are anti-racist, LGBTQ+ affirmative, and committed to consistently elevating the voices of those whom oppressive systems attempt to silence.
