About My Clients

My clients are often thoughtful, insightful people who want to reflect more deeply on their experiences. They may be navigating relationship and intimacy concerns, ethical non-monogamy, grief, or the emotional complexity of family planning. Many want support making sense of past trauma. I have a particular passion for working with the LGBTQIA+ community, new parents, and those processing recent losses. All identities and lived experiences are welcome and celebrated.

My Background and Approach

My approach is integrative and relational, drawing from Internal Family Systems (IFS), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and Psychodynamic Therapy. I also often draw from Narrative Relational Sex Therapy when working with individuals and couples exploring sex and intimacy. I’m interested in helping clients understand the patterns that shape their inner worlds and relationships, including how early experiences, attachment, and social context influence the ways we connect with ourselves and others. Together we explore emotions, parts of self, and relational dynamics with curiosity and compassion.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe each of us is shaped by a complex mix of biological, psychological, social, and environmental experiences. Our identities — such as race, gender, sexuality, culture, family roles, and community — are part of that story. For some people these identities are central to how they understand themselves; for others, they may feel less central. In my work, these contexts are always on my mind. Sometimes they are in the foreground of our conversations, and sometimes they stay in the background, depending on what feels most relevant to you. My practice is grounded in anti-oppressive values and a commitment to cultural humility. I aim to be thoughtful about the broader systems and power dynamics that shape our lives and mental health. While I bring clinical training and perspective, I believe clients are the experts on their own lives. My role is to listen, stay curious, and work collaboratively to understand your experiences and what matters most to you.
