My Background and Approach
"We repeat what we don't repair." - Christine Langley-Obaugh. My approach to counseling is open, encouraging, and to understand each situation as a unique opportunity to find both solutions and resolution. My goal is to walk alongside you in order to help discover the beliefs and emotions that are causing depression, anxiety, fear, and anger. I believe that you write your own story and are in charge of your future. Using your past experiences, and learning from them, we will find the direction and coping skills that you need in order to live the life you want.I have specialized training in several approaches and during our sessions we will work together to determine what is best suited to your needs. I believe in providing options so that you may choose how our sessions and therapeutic relationship develop. During our first session I will share my background, philosophy and confidentiality agreement. Ensuring your comfort and safety are my top priority.
