About My Clients
I'm passionate about helping adults and adolescents navigate stressors, anxiety, life changes, relationship conflicts, identity issues, and trauma. I assist clients in managing uncertainty, change, and strong emotions, navigating conflicts, and being empowered, resilient, and in control throughout daily life. I also help clients pursue positive and beautiful thinking and harmony among the mind, body, and spirit, and develop their strengths, identity, motivations, and life purposes.
My Background and Approach
I have engaged in 5 years of volunteer experience in the social work field, 2 years of social work/clinical internship experience, and 1 year of licensed clinical practice. Helping people improve their quality of life and overall wellness is a significant passion of mine! Interventions I utilize include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness, and Existential Therapy, with a focus on trauma- and somatic-informed practices.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe in a warm and welcoming therapy environment, holding space to safely explore emotions and thoughts, fostering resilience and self-compassion, and taking meaningful steps toward healing. I value a gentle approach to healing, although I'm not afraid to challenge clients toward the growth they wish to achieve. I hold the philosophy that people never needed to "fix" themselves, but rather understand and accept themselves, and the strong belief that everyone deserves to be seen, understood, and assisted. I'm a therapist proudly partnered with The Holistic Hive, a mental health organization combining evidence-based traditional therapies with holistic practices, and a strong focus on trauma-informed care. We're inspired by the social structure and sustainability of bees, striving to promote collective healing, connection, and resilience among our community.
