From research to interactions with those who are serving or have served, I have both the knowledge and experience of guiding you through what may be holding you back. Maybe its adjusting to a new environment or new roll. Maybe the grief that comes with loss, change, or relocating has been overwhelming. Maybe there are other parts of your life that are impacted by your service experiences. I'm willing to walk through it all with you.

Men's issues are diverse and unique. Most men were never given the opportunity to express their emotions or discuss their struggles which can lead to further issues in their social life. Men are expected to go through the worst of the worst, brush it off, and go back to work- but not here. Here you'll find a safe place to express your frustrations, exhaustion, stressors, and joys. I've worked with a wide range of men including those who are incarcerated, first responders, and male-identifying.

Grief isn't just loss and loss isn't always accompanied by grief. If you've lost a loved one, friend, pet, someone you didn't really know, or even someone who hurt you- you can experience grief. Maybe your grief is from moving homes, jobs, schools, or other staples we experience in life. Not all grief is negative- it's hard to watch your child grow-up, become independent, graduate, move away, and even doing it yourself for growth. Grief is complicated and not a one-size-fits-all sweater.

The science of addiction was what brought me to the counseling field. After graduating with a Bachelor's in Community Family, and Addiction Sciences, I obtained my Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor- Intern, worked at a residential rehabilitation, and have since counseled in a jail setting with individuals in on drug charges. I have experience with one-on-one addiction therapy and groups including relapse prevention. My goal is to help you find peace in sobriety.

Person-Centered therapy is my primary treatment orientation because I do truly believe your session is yours, not mine. I utilize a nondirective, empathic approach that empowers and motivates the you on your healing journey. My guidance is present without any conditions or judgement. Through the process, my goal is for you to build confidence, self-love, and a better understanding of who you are and what you want out of life.
