My Background and Approach

I graduated from Texas Tech University in May 2023 with my Master of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I have experience in individual and group therapy for incarcerated men and women from various cultures and backgrounds. Some specialized populations include first responders, veterans, trauma survivors, and those who have experienced grief or loss. I also have experience in addiction recovery including residential rehabilitation, 12-step work, and leading relapse prevention groups. I have an eclectic approach to treatment however, I tend to draw from a Client-Centered or Rogerian approach. My goal is to provide an empathetic, judgement free environment that encourages a safe space for vulnerability and exploration of self. You are the expert of your own life and I am here to guide you through your journey, no matter what that may entail.
