About My Clients
You’ve spent years caring for others - family, friends, clients - and now you’re realizing how far down your own needs have fallen on the list. Maybe you feel anxious, burnt out, or frustrated by the same patterns that keep repeating. I help individuals and families break free from painful patterns shaped by trauma, people-pleasing, and silence. Through somatic and EMDR, we’ll help your body feel safe enough to say what’s true - to set limits, ask for what you need, and stand firm in yourself.
My Background and Approach
I’m a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker in Massachusetts, providing individual psychotherapy to adults. After obtaining my Masters of Social Work, I worked for over five years in inpatient and outpatient healthcare settings, where I had had the privilege of supporting individuals, couples, and families in their struggles; my belief that everyone deserves quality care meant the majority of this time was spent at community health centers. Given this, I bring a strong awareness of how our environment, including systems of oppression, impacts mental health. I also believe that all of us are in a constant state of growth, and as such I actively seek out training opportunities, supervision, and peer consultation, and I welcome feedback from you.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My work is integrative; rather than focusing solely on thoughts or behaviors, I help clients understand how their emotional experiences shape patterns of connection and protection. My approach combines Internal Family Systems (IFS), EMDR, and Buddhist psychology, blending evidence-based and mindfulness-based methods to support whole-person healing.
