About My Clients
Do you feel weighed down by anxiety, depression, or past trauma? Are you just surviving each day? Many of my clients are ready to change but find themselves stuck in painful patterns that impact their relationships and daily life. They are ready to confront what’s been holding them back and do the hard work of healing. Using EMDR therapy, I help them process unresolved experiences, find relief from emotional distress.
My Background and Approach
As a licensed clinical social worker with training in EMDR, I help clients process anxiety, depression, and trauma so they no longer feel stuck in painful patterns. EMDR allows the brain to reprocess unresolved experiences and bring lasting relief. I also use CBT and mindfulness to provide practical tools for managing distressing thoughts, calming the body, and improving daily life. My approach is collaborative and compassionate, focused on your goals. Together, we’ll address current struggles while building resilience for the future. Over my career, I’ve specialized in helping adults move from simply surviving to feeling calmer, more present, and more connected.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy should be a safe, inclusive space where every person feels seen and valued. Guided by compassion, social justice, and respect for each client’s story, I honor diversity in all forms and create a welcoming environment. Outside of practice, I support causes like mental health advocacy, suicide prevention, and LGBTQ+ equality, working to reduce stigma and increase access to care. I value mindfulness, balance, and resilience, qualities I help clients cultivate to manage challenges, find calm, and build long-term growth. These commitments shape how I show up as a therapist: open, empathetic, and ready to support you as you work toward meaningful change.
