About My Clients
If you are feeling sad, nervous, ruminative, or disconnected from yourself and those around you, therapy can be an important part of your healing. I enjoy working with adults with relationship concerns, anxiety, depression, and challenging life transitions. Other interests include working with individuals with obsessive-compulsive disorder and difficulties with emotional expression.
My Background and Approach
I use an integrative approach to therapy to meet each client’s unique needs and goals. I believe supportive, quality relationships (with family, friends, partners, ourselves) are central to mental health and well-being. In turn, mental health struggles can impact how we relate and connect with people. I take time to explore individual's important relationships, understand their relationship patterns, and help them make positive changes in their interactions and connections with themselves and others. My diverse training and background includes inpatient and outpatient treatment and assessment, forensic and correctional psychology, and organizational consulting.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe it is never too late to make changes in your life. At any age or stage, it is possible to learn to manage your moods and anxiety, improve your relationships, develop self-compassion, and align with your values.
