About My Clients
You may feel pulled between parts of yourself: the part that wants change and the part that learned survival through numbing, perfectionism or staying small. You may also be carrying addiction, complex trauma, ADHD, sensory differences or old messages about who you should be. I work with queer, neurodivergent and bicultural adults who want to feel more connected to themselves, their relationships and a sense of meaning.
My Background and Approach
Every part of you belongs in the room. My style is laid-back, authentic and gently challenging, with attention to the social systems around your experience. I integrate EMDR, trauma-focused CBT, ACT, DBT, compassion-focused and parts-based approaches, along with mindfulness, motivational interviewing and somatic work. We can understand protective patterns, process what still feels stuck and build practical ways to navigate strong emotions, recovery, boundaries and connection. The work can hold both symptom relief and deeper questions of identity, faith and purpose.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
This work is shaped by my own identities as a queer, neurodivergent and bicultural clinician with lived experience of mental health recovery. I know how complicated belonging can become when different parts of you have been welcomed in different places. I do not see therapy as a way to make you more acceptable to other people. It can be a place to understand the strategies that kept you safe, reconnect with the parts you learned to hide and decide what a more authentic, connected life means to you. If you would like to work with me, please book your first session on my website.
