About My Clients

I am a member of the LGBTQ+ community, and am proud to primarily serve LGBTQ+ clients. People come to me to discuss: • Gender-affirming care (including letters of support for trans-affirming medical care for trans and non-binary clients) • Work-related stress / stress-management • Anxiety • Life transitions • Chronic illness • Grief • Trauma/PTSD

My Background and Approach

I have more than 5 years’ experience providing therapy to adult clients, and hold a license in clinical social work in Missouri and in Oregon, where I currently live. My therapeutic style is inspired by multiple theoretical frameworks. As a person-centered therapist, I use an affirmative, relational and trauma-informed approach. This means I offer a genuine and compassionate presence, and prioritize collaborating with clients on building safety, trust and transparency, addressing their struggles in the context of their lived experience.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe all humans have the capacity for change and healing through their inner wisdom and intuition. Sometimes, we humans need assistance to access these powers, and to attend to past and current experiences that hold us back or keep us stuck. As a therapist, it is a joy to empower clients to tap into their strengths and move toward inner peace, growth and overall well-being.
