About My Clients
I most frequently work with teens and adults struggling with depression, anxiety, and life transitions.
My Background and Approach
I have over ten years of clinical experience working in a myriad of environments & populations. I utilize an eclectic therapeutic approach including CBT and person-centered techniques to identify what most helps you succeed. Whether it be humor or pop-culture references, I’m here to help you make that connection to get you on a healthier path.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
It’s my belief that almost everyone can benefit from therapy if they are interested. Whether wanting a neutral support to process feelings, help navigate specific struggles, or improve overall wellness, therapy can help you achieve your goals. I wanted to become a therapist because my Psychology class was the only one that I was genuinely interested in and was curious on how the mind and behavior work. I was lucky to have a cool and supportive guidance counselor that helped guide me down this path (and let me get out of certain classes TO talk about these things. Thanks, Ms. B!) I love spending time with my family, including our dog, Detective Olivia Benson. Additionally, I’m always trying to learn new things whether it be a new hobby of my kid’s, current events (Scandoval…Shark Week..anyone?), or reading the latest research on various topics like parenting and mental health.
