About My Clients
Clients who work with me are from a variety of backgrounds but I do have a specific focus working with people who are interested in breaking trauma cycles within their family. I particularly love working with people in the perinatal period. I have worked with many adults who are currently parents who need support and empowerment as well as those who know that they would like to build their confidence in themselves before becoming a parent.
My Background and Approach
I am trained in EMDR therapy for trauma, depression and anxiety and have advanced training in Perinatal Mental health. My specialization is working with clients during the pregnancy and the postpartum period including fertility, grief, Postpartum Depression and Anxiety, mood disorders birth trauma, and maternal challenges past the postpartum period.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My goal as a therapist is to meet you where you are in your journey and help you discover what healing looks like for you. This includes listening to your concerns and taking your perspective as the expert in your experience. I don't come to you as an expert or a boss to "fix" you, but as a guide to help you discover how you can be empowered to live the life you want to live
