I have worked for many years helping families and individuals process through their grief and loss in ways that supported their own healing timeline without judgment or my own agenda. I believe grief is unique to each person and the healing is up to your needs.

I utilize evidence based practices such as DBT to help you learn, grow and become who you want to be. Personality disorders can be very stigmatized and I believe together we can find balance, awareness and growth to use who you are as a superpower.

I have worked with Veterans of all ages, First Responders, Crisis teams and more to resolve trauma and heal in ways they never thought possible. Trauma may be part of you but it does not define you. We can create a path to healing and give you a new life.

This approach helps us look at the big picture of who you are, what led you to become who you are and guides us to changing what you want to through understanding and acceptance.

EMDR creates a healing pathway within your brain and allows for it to heal itself. Your brain does all the work as I guide you through the process and move from pain into peace.

DBT is all about awareness, mindfulness and utilizing balance through a few simple skills. It’s a life changing practice I think everyone needs to be their best self!

I believe that everyone is created with a purpose and no matter your challenges we can work together to find balance that gives you the life you were meant to live. I utilize a variety of therapy modalities including client centered trauma informed, DBT, CBT, EMDR and more traditional psychotherapy.

Grief is a trauma all its own and having experienced my own losses, I am uniquely suited to help you walk through yours. Grief is a journey that has many phases and can last a lifetime because we never stop loving those that we’ve lost and that is a beautiful thing. It does change and we grow around the pain but this journey is better walked in connection with others and I can help with that. We can rebuild and heal.

PTSD is both over and under diagnosed. I also believe that PTSD is underestimated. Trauma varies for each individual and what may impact one person to the point of experiencing PTSD may not bother another person at all. My goal is to validate your trauma, the experiences that have come with it and help create a plan for healing and move forward with that healing at your pace. In healing from PTSD, I often use a mixture of modalities, including EMDR, CBT, DBT and intense coping skill development.
