I have worked with children, teens, and adults providing solution-focused brief therapy, primarily for those involved in the child welfare system. We can focus on what is going well and how to do more of that. I have had success using this therapy with those experiencing depression, anxiety, immediate crises, or barriers to their usual functioning.

I have been practicing trauma informed care and treatment for the past ten years. I believe that trauma is initially experienced in a sensory way and that finding words to describe and explore trauma is a process. I believe that many, if not most of us, experience a variety of traumatic events in our lives that impact how we perceive the world and interact with it, and that we can heal from these experiences.

I have been utilizing CBT since 2008, often in conjunction with other methods. I have had success using this therapy with those experiencing depression, anxiety, immediate crises, or barriers to their usual functioning.

I have been working with children and adolescents since 2008 addressing depression, anxiety, suicidal thoughts, self-harm, and all of the stressors that come with living in a technological age as a brain develops!
