About My Clients
I work with adults navigating anxiety, grief, trauma, relationship challenges, childhood emotional wounds, burnout, life transitions, and questions of meaning and purpose. If you feel disconnected from yourself, weighed down by past experiences, or unsure of your next step, therapy can provide a space to gain insight, reconnect with your strengths and values, and move toward a life that feels more authentic and fulfilling.
My Background and Approach
My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and grounded in the belief that healing happens through greater self-understanding, connection, and acceptance. I draw from EMDR, mindfulness, attachment theory, self-compassion, insight-oriented work, existential perspectives, cognitive-behavioral strategies, and trauma-informed care to help clients process difficult experiences, develop healthier patterns, and build resilience. I believe symptoms often make sense within the context of a person’s life experiences. Rather than focusing solely on reducing distress, therapy can help uncover underlying patterns, deepen self-awareness, strengthen self-compassion, and reconnect you with your values, strengths, and sense of purpose. I strive to create a warm, nonjudgmental space where you can explore challenges, gain insight, and move toward meaningful and lasting change.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe people are more than their symptoms, diagnoses, or difficult experiences. I deeply care about each person’s inner and outer world and strive to create a space where people feel seen, accepted, and understood. I believe growth and healing are most likely to occur when we approach ourselves with curiosity and compassion while honoring the parts of us that are still learning, changing, and healing. Outside of therapy, I enjoy spending time with my dog, caring for my garden and houseplants, creating art, working with clay, hiking, being in nature, and exploring my love of music and film. These activities help me stay grounded and connected to creativity, presence, and the simple moments that bring meaning to life.
