My Background and Approach

Education: I earned my undergraduate degree in Sociology from Baylor University and my master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Texas at Arlington. Experience: I discovered my passion for helping others while pursuing my undergraduate degree, where I interacted with mental health professionals and developed a drive for supporting others. I have worked in a variety of counseling settings including a domestic violence and incest recovery center, hospitals, a school, and outpatient counseling center. Approach: My approach is built on trust and mutual respect. I am warm, positive, and empathetic. I use an integrative approach that is built on collaboration.
