My Background and Approach
I have worked with many children, teens, their parents, and adults in my career. My background as a case worker, Bachelors in Psychology, and Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling have been essential to my work as a counselor. I also am a Registered Play therapist. Meaning I have done the work, undergone the supervision, and completed the requirements to be able to give play therapy services to children ages 3-11. Although this has been a large chunk of my work, I thoroughly enjoy working with teens and adults as well.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe everyone should have the access to proper mental health services. Mental Health is something that transcends race, ethnicity, and sexual orientation. Everyone's feelings are valid, and everyone deserves a safe, judgement-free space to talk about and process those feelings. I hope I can provide that space for you.
