About My Clients
My clients want to dig deeper. They're navigating questions about identity, sexuality, relationships, or working through trauma and shame. They're curious, reflective people who value authenticity and are ready to explore difficult topics. They might be considering coming out, exploring kink or non-monogamy, dealing with intense emotions, or tired of repeating the same patterns. What ties them together is their willingness to be honest and do the work of truly understanding themselves.
My Background and Approach
Before becoming a therapist, I spent seven years as a Product Manager in tech. I earned my MSW from Columbia University and I'm trained in LGBTQ+ affirming care through the Institute for Human Identity. My approach is grounded in relational psychodynamic theory. I believe genuine connection creates safe space for real exploration. I'm warm and empathic, but also direct. I use humor when it helps and won't shy away from difficult conversations. My work is anti-oppressive, trauma-informed, sex-positive, and kink-affirming. I adapt based on what you need in the moment, utilizing talk therapy, skills-building, and parts work, along with other modalities. While I'm trained in LGBTQ+ affirming work, I work with individuals of all backgrounds. I'm committed to ongoing learning both professionally and personally, and I believe therapy should feel like collaboration where you're the expert on your own life.
