About My Clients
I specialize in helping individuals of all ages navigate the complex challenges of trauma, anxiety, OCD, and depression. I work with both adolescents and adults, recognizing the unique experiences and pressures that different life stages present. My goal is to create a safe and supportive environment where clients can openly express themselves, gain new insights, and effectively face the fears that are holding them back. I also work with couples and relationships of all structures.
My Background and Approach
I'm continually working to build the tools and expertise that help me best serve the clients who entrust their care to me. I believe that a strong, nurturing therapeutic relationship combined with evidence-based tools and a big dose of curiosity creates a synergy that fuels true change. I have training in ACT, DBT, CBT for Chronic Pain, and various exposure-based treatments for trauma, OCD, and anxiety. I also am trained in Gottman Method for relationship counseling. My ultimate intention is to assist clients in whatever work needs to be done for them to feel empowered, resourceful, and resilient as they move forward with their lives.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe we can all change, and that it often requires doing work - attachment exploration, exposure work, mindfulness, skill-building, some cognitive restructuring - that enables us to face our demons and take accountability for the things we need to in order for us to be fully present in ourselves and make changes in our lives. I take a non-judgmental, curiosity-based approach and work with clients wherever they happen to be in their journey. I am passionate about helping individuals harness their personal strengths, values, and natural resilience as they work toward their goals.
