About My Clients
If you’re here, you’re probably feeling anxious and overwhelmed, and you want to feel calm and confident. Despite being smart and responsible, you're struggling. It feels like your brain never shuts off and you feel responsible for everything and everyone in your life. I love working with perfectionist women in their 20s and 30s who feel intense pressure to live up to expectations. I can help you manage stress and figure out how to live a more balanced and joyful life.
My Background and Approach
Most of my clients are struggling to find balance between work, relationships and truly taking care of themselves. They are so used to worrying about making things easier for everyone else that asking for help feels like a burden. They spend a lot of time overthinking and analyzing to the point where they feel confused about their choices. They feel like even small decisions can have huge repercussions. A lot of energy is spent on trying to plan out everything and they are always preparing for the worst. Even small inconveniences can make them feel frustrated and out of control. In therapy, we’ll work on brainstorming solutions to specific problems, learning skills to manage your worries and stressors, and figuring out how to live a more balanced and meaningful life. You deserve to feel peace, both mentally and physically, without worrying about letting down your family, partner, friends or work. You deserve to stand up for yourself and have the life you want without guilt.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Early on, I learned how to stuff everything down and be the reliable one. Through my own work, I’ve learned how to manage anxiety and self doubt with curiosity and compassion. I know the energy it takes to be a perfectionist and what it’s like to feel beholden to other people’s emotions. I want to help free you of these burdens, too. I know if I can figure how to find balance, so can you. I welcome laughter in the therapy room as much as tears. No topic is off limits and no emotion is too big or small. Therapy is hard work and I know it can feel scary to start. I aim to create a space that is yours to feel supported, vent if you need to, wonder about life’s big questions and learn more about yourself.
