About My Clients
Most of the clients I work with come in feeling frustrated and wanting to reach more of their potential. They're exhausted and want support. I work best with clients struggling with anxiety, depression, major life transitions, and eating disorders. My goal is to help decrease the symptoms you're feeling with skills-work while also helping you explore the root of the problem for greater understanding and healing.
My Background and Approach
With nearly a decade of working in residential, day program, and outpatient care, I understand that there's no one-size-fits-all approach to healing. I utilize skills-based approaches to help strengthen your foundation of the day-to-day while using trauma-informed approaches to access healing. As an Eating Disorders Specialist, I am HAES- and Intuitive Eating-aligned, meaning you have a safe space to process the areas in which you feel stuck. You deserve to have a space where you feel understood and championed, and it is my goal to create that in our time together. I believe in the recovery process. I believe that aspects of it can be incredibly challenging but that recovery is possible and it is worth it. Whether you're ready to make major changes or you feel uncertain, you deserve a space to process those feelings without judgement or pressure. I strive to create a safe and inclusive space no matter your race, gender, orientation, body size, religion, etc. You are welcome just as you are.
