My Background and Approach
I have worked in the field of social services for over 20 years; a lot has changed and a lot has stayed the same. Through the years my commitment to educating, supporting and challenging others to pursue progress, not perfection, has remained the same. Using an eclectic approach to therapy with a foundation in cognitive behavioral therapy (cbt), I believe the therapeutic relationship is the best way to create a space for healing and change. Healing comes from education and knowledge. Change comes from implementation and practice. There is no quick fix on this journey; it’s about progress over perfection. Through choosing knowledge and wellness, you CAN find your best version of self, and THRIVE.
